RR Scene in Eagle Lake

Above:  A view of the southwest corner as of late January 2006. The depot is being returned to its original trim colors.  Window frames. door frames, and doors are dark green, with window sashes a wine red color.  The underside of the roof overhang will be painted a light green color.  Traces of these colors were found on the original wood, and correspond with the colors specified in Santa Fe standards for depots of the early 1900's.  The Eagle Lake depot wore these colors until the 1930's or possibly later, although the wine red and light green were replaced with an all dark green trim at some point.   Below:  A view of the north and west sides in November 2006.

Above:  A view of the northwest portion in November, 2005.  The roof was under repair, which is why there are stacks of tiles.

Same view as above, but an early morning shot.
